MODEL
The franchise model is based on a proven framework and methodology, ensuring a successful retail operation with the locally renowned City Express brand. The initial cash investment is reasonable. and franchisees receive assistance and support throughout the franchise period. City Express franchisees are independent entrepreneurs who operate a City Express store through a 3-year contractual agreement. with another 3-year option to renew.

A CITY EXPRESS STORE
After the franchisee’s preferred store location is secured, the franchisee will bear the initial investment cost. which includes start-up inventory, construction, minor and major renovations, as well as the installation of a backup power generator and air-conditioning units. City Express will bear the costs of the store fixtures and equipment.

We provide financial management services
City Express offers bookkeeping services and provides financial statements for the franchisee’s convenience to analyze the store’s sales performance.
We provide equipment repair and maintenance
City Express provides all equipment including freezers, shelves, cash registers, etc. Franchisees will be responsible for the reporting of any breakdowns in the equipment and to request for the proper maintenance and repair works.

There is No franchise fee required. The franchisee will shoulder the costs of major or minor construction for their selected site’s and the initial capital for the store’s inventory, supplies, business licenses, permits and cash register fund. Can I select the location for my City Express store?
In order to be considered for development as a City Express store, all potential sites must be submitted to our team, which will evaluate the site and, if appropriate, work with the developer or lanlord to develop the site.
Which regions or states can I open City Express store?
We are open to franchises in all capital cities and large regional centres across the country.
Who will build my store(s)?
After the franchisee’s preferred store location is secured, City Express bears the in-store set-up cost, which includes fixtures and store equipment only. The franchisee will be responsible for the initial site development cost, which includes construction, minor and major renovations, as well as the installation of a backup power generator and air-conditioning units.
Can I open more than one City Express store?
Yes, however, each store will require a separate Franchise Agreement and investment.
Do all City Express stores need to be open 24 hours a day?
As our customers have come to rely on our stores to meet their needs and their schedules, where allowed by law. City Express stores should be operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Can I carry my own products, or do I have to carry only what City Express offers?
Franchisees are required to stock their stores with the products supplied by City Express, including certain proprietary products, such as those exclusive to the City Selection brand.
